The Privet Senna is a native wildflower that has bright yellow flowers. It is an evergreen shrub that grows 4-8 feet tall. Leaves are pinnately compound with dark green leaflets. Grows in the wild in Central and South Florida, the West indies and Central America. It is a host plant for several butterfly species. Hardy in zones 9-12.

When the seedlings are a few inches tall, they can be transplanted.
