The species that are in the painting are the pawpaw tree, Asimina triloba, the Tulip tree, Liriodendron tulipifera, the Cucumber tree, Magnolia acuminata, the Strawberry Shrub, Calycanthus floridus, trhe Dutchman's Pipe, Aristolochia macrophylla and the Purple Anise, Illicium floridanum. The original illustration is an acrylic painting on acid-free Strathmore Bristol Board paper. The print is on matte photo paper. It is an 8 x 10 inch print. The artist has created botanical illustrations for publications that have been published by the New York Botanical Garden and the University Press of Florida.
